This guide walks through the first setup steps for Flow Buddy after installation.

Before you start

• Install the app in your Shopify admin
• Open Flow Buddy from Shopify admin
• Confirm you are using a dev or paid store where you can test Shopify Flow

Setup steps

1. Open Flow Buddy from Shopify admin.
2. Review the home page cards for Email, AI, SFTP, and Webhooks.
3. Open the onboarding flow if you are new to the app.
4. Connect only the features you plan to use first.
5. Save each settings page after entering credentials.
6. Open Shopify Flow and confirm the Flow Buddy triggers and actions appear.

What to configure first

• Email settings if you want transactional or branded email sends
• AI settings if you want text generation in workflows
• SFTP settings if you exchange files with external systems
• Webhook settings if outside systems need to trigger Flow

Good first test

Create one simple workflow, run it once, then confirm the action completes without errors.
