What it does

This trigger starts Shopify Flow when a storefront event happens, such as a product view, add to cart, or purchase-related event.

When to use it

Use this when you want shopper behavior on the storefront to start automation in Shopify Flow.

Before you start

• Install Flow Buddy
• Confirm your plan includes storefront triggers
• Decide which storefront event should create the Flow event
• Make sure the storefront event is being emitted correctly

Setup steps

1. Open Shopify Flow and add the Flow Buddy storefront trigger.
2. Configure the workflow logic that should run after the event.
3. Update the storefront or theme so the target event is sent.
4. Save and publish the workflow.
5. Perform the storefront action on a test session.
6. Confirm the workflow runs.

Example

A shopper views the same product several times. Flow starts and adds the shopper to a follow-up campaign.
